Tubby Bubby was established as a web-based resource for parents and carers of babies and toddlers to find products, share experiences and voice their opinions. 

Through the site, requests were coming in for baby products that were Australian made, and it quickly became apparent that it was hard for people to find Australian-made baby clothes.

As a result, Tubby Bubby sourced Australian-grown organic cotton, a local pattern maker, label and clothing manufacturer and made high quality all-Australian baby bodysuits.

“Given that we wanted to advertise the fact the body suits were Australian made and grown, we decided to utilise the ‘Australian-made’ logo in a quirky twist on the actual body suit itself - a cute little double entendre”, says Julia Marsden, co-founder of Tubby Bubby.

“We are really proud that we can provide such high quality Australian grown and made baby suits at an affordable price”, adds Greg Churchill, IT Manager and co-founder of Tubby Bubby.

“The fact the body suits are made from organic cotton is also a feature as they are good for both the environment as well as babies sensitive skins. We have only just started stocking this product, and already it is selling well through the Tubby Bubby website, and at the ‘Purely Australian’ shop (329) at Melbourne’s Tullamarine Airport.  We plan on expanding further very soon, as well as adding Australian-made baby related sites to our popular online parenting directory,” says Greg.

The body suits cost $19 plus $3 postage and handling.
